Kimberly Bernal, also known as Bungieo Art, is a DFW Metroplex-based mixed media
artist known for her vibrant, whimsical acrylic paintings. Originally from Chicago,
Kimberly began drawing at a young age, finding solace through art. Her creations
explore the intricate relationship between escapism and personal identity, often tapping
into her inner child and drawing inspiration from her Mexican heritage. Influenced by
Salvador Dalí and Frida Kahlo, she translates her inner world into tangible forms,
whether it’s papier mâché sculptures, polymer clay earrings, gold twine stitched onto
canvas, or vibrant use of color on her acrylic paintings.
